“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” Albert Einstein wrote that nearly a century ago, and it is still the best description of what a Director Academics is actually responsible for: not just what gets taught, but how a child learns to think.
At KRM Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, that shows up in specific ways. Our classrooms are built around experiential learning, not marks memorised for an exam. We teach to multiple intelligences, since not every child learns the same way from the same textbook. Projects are designed around real problems, and STEAM sits at the centre of how we treat science and technology as one way of thinking, not separate subjects.
None of that works without attention paid to a child outside the classroom too. So we take physical, social and emotional development as seriously as academic results, and we build value-based habits into daily school life rather than a separate period on the timetable.
My own role, in practice, is simple: to keep asking whether what we teach at KRM Indirapuram Ghaziabad actually prepares a child for the world outside it. It is also why I believe we can genuinely be counted among the best schools in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, not because of a slogan, but because of what happens in our classrooms every day.
